Kickstarter and Device Design: Squat Stool
Team Members: Peter Li, Mackenzie de Carle, Thomas Lee, and Omar Khan
Upon the completion of the Conceptual Design Report (See under Works Pages) and receiving the Detailed Designs from the Detailed Design team, we, the Conceptual Design Team, created a Device Design Report finalizing and summarizing the the details of the project. Thereafter we made presentable prototypes and pitched a kickstarter video.
Prototyping
The team decided to make two prototypes: physical prototype and virtual prototype. The physical prototype is a high fidelity prototype that approximates the size and functionality of the final device. The virtual prototype on the other hand is a mid to low fidelity prototype demonstrating the aesthetics and proportions of the final designs. Below is the rendering for the virtual prototype.

Kickstarter
The design team proposes an easy solution to the historical issue of correct defecating position. The kickstarter is a professional pitch meant to sum up the intricacies of the research and propose the design in a professional manner. The squat stool is an accessory to the common pedestal toilet and is the future of the healthy bathroom.
